that long ago it was a privilege and an advantage to be literate. Think just how many people do not take advantage of being able to read and write. Letters, words, sentences… written down have changed many lives, including mine. LITERACY IS A REVOLUTION OF HOW WE COMMUNICATE.

On one hand society evolves (just as much as for the good as it does for the bad). So change is sort of needed.
On the other hand those special moments when we used that little we had to create something that meant so much more is very nostalgic too.
